My boyfriend and I took a trip over to Olvera Street this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I was able to take a lot of great photos. The man in the headdress and the young girl in a similar costume are related, their whole family was there dressed up in native wear. They were all very high spirited and kind and were happy to pose for the camera. There are tons of shops and stands and they sell some really beautiful, colorful, hand-crafted things and other little nick nacks. My boyfriend treated me to two new pairs of earrings that I'm in love with. (:
